Maybe I should throw in the towel...

I have been such a die hard fan of the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I always get caught up in the idea that 2 people could actually fall in love in 2 months and live happily ever after. Problem is, the Bachelor/Bachelorette NEVER choose who I would choose for them! It's just saddening watching my contestants go home with their hearts broken. For instance, I liked Reid the entire season and was so sure she'd say yes when he came back and proposed. I actually knew he was going to come back before they even advertised it (it was like a 6th sense). But to my dismay, she picked Ed--no offense, he's okay also...I guess. Anyways, I watched the aftershow last night and Reid seemed so genuinely broken hearted, but still managed to be humourous (big plus). He must be the next Bachelor or ABC will lose a fan.

Never get enough!

This picture was from a visit to Houston a couple of weeks ago. I love, love, love this little girl! I was doing paperwork for my brother-in-law and Avery wanted to help. My mom was there as well and was about to leave. Ave's mom said say bye bye to Nana and Avery waved a quick wave to Nana and came to give me a kiss. I guess she caught on to our goodbye routines and although I wasn't leaving, I was glad to get some sugar from A! Can't get enough of this girl!

Wedding Dress

I found Kelly's Korner through my sister's blog (Love This Life) and figured I'd breakdown and join all of the fun. I love to share memories of the best day of my life. We had an outdoor wedding at an old plantation style house. It was so beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather (we do live in Texas after all)! Enjoy...

Oh boy

I'm sorry I've been such a terrible blogger lately. There really is no excuse--well one--- I can't seem to find my camera and what's a blog entry without pictures? I would just go buy a camera but I really want to save for the Nikon I have my eye on. So until then, if I have any readers, you'll just have to bare with me.

What have I been doing over the summer? Well, I've taken a trip to the Frio, to Lake LBJ, and very soon to Port A. I've been to a few workshops, compiling, organizing, and making wedding albums and all that entails, babysitting for Avery, visiting friends in Austin, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and working on school stuff very minimally. Generally I've been enjoying life as much as possible while anticipating the next school year. I still have a few trips I would like to make before the end of summer or atleast before the end of the year--to see my long, lost friends Susan (Dallas) and Johanna (New Orleans).
