Guest Bathroom Makeover

Let me just say that I DO NOT have an eye for paint colors. It took me 3 trips to Lowe's plus 1 trip to Sherwin Williams to finally find a paint color that I love! Our guest bathroom (which is small) was painted the color Wool Skein (when in artificial lighting it had a yellow tint). There are no windows in this particular area of the house so I wanted to lighten it up a little and make it look more spacey. My initial intention was to do an antiquey blue or green. These colors were a catastrophe. Then I preceded to look for a grey color. I was sure that I had found the one I wanted only to find out it looked purple on the walls....ick! So finally I decided to go to Sherwin Williams ( I'm sure the Lowe's paint guy appreciated me not coming to bother him for any more samples) and looked toward the greys with green undertones instead of blue. Low and behold I found 2 colors I was really fond of but decided to go with Sedate Grey. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. I don't have any before pictures but you're not missing any thing. I will post after pictures shortly...

Mother's Day Weekend...

Let me start out by saying that I have the best moms in my life! They all have so much to offer to their families and I'm so thankful to be able to be part of their lives. I love you all.

This past weekend Matt and I stayed in Dime Box and went to dinner with his Mom and Dad in Giddings. Saturday morning I headed to Shiner while Matt went to Liberty Hill to work at the deer lease. Us girls went to Gruene for the day and had a blast while Scott and Dad took the boat out to Fayette Lake. We had fajitas, jalapeno poppers and peach cobbler that night in Shiner courtesy of Hillary. Everything was scrumptious! Sunday the family, Grandma Raab, and Aunt Delores, Uncle David, and Lindsey all met up at Robert's in Flatonia to eat. It took forever!! Anyways, another weekend gone but not forgotten. Happy Mother's Day again to all that read this! I hope to have pictures up soon.
