Susu's shower

A few weekends ago, a few gals and myself hosted a couple's baby shower for our dear friend Susan and her husband Eric. She was to be induced today so I'm anxious to hear the news! Take a look at some of the fun. Of course, Matt had to win one of the games like usual! It was the baby poo guessing game (involving candy, go figure).

Back from paradise

There's a downside to everything, even vacations in paradise. That is, YOU HAVE TO RETURN TO REALITY. We had a magnificent time in gorgeous Ocho Rios. The water is like a swimming pool and the people are super nice! The resort staff waited on us hand and feet which is why we ate waaaaaaaaay too much. The place was called The Royal Plantation. It's a small boutique resort which I much prefer to the huge chains like Sandals or Riu resorts. It's much more personal and luxurious. Here are just a handful of pictures I took. Matt felt like he was being chased by the paparazzi I'm sure. I had no clue that I had taken about 400 pictures....it only felt like 50! Enjoy...

Our Wedding!

Our wedding was the best day of my life--even better than I could have imagined. Everyone I talked to said they had a grand time and the food was great! We couldn't have asked for better weather or location and I just can't say enough good things about our deejay. Contrary to what people say, the day did not pass by like a snap of finger. I'm glad we scheduled enough time in between things so that we could visit with our guests and take it all in. I have no regrets about that day and I'm so thankful to our friends and family that made it all possible. Here are just a few non-professional shots. The professional pictures are soon to come!

Better late than never...

I wanted to post some of our engagement and bridal pictures on here to show off how wonderful our photographer was (Amy Blackburn). If she could make me look photogenic, she's THE BEST! Matt definitely has the upper hand when it comes to cameras.

I finally caved....

It seems that everyone I know (with exception of 1 or 2 people) have family or personal blogs. In the event that we just got married and had a few new additions to our family, we thought it just might be neccessary now. Our lives are not all that interesting that anyone would stop what they're doing to check up on us. BUT, in any case, we're going to share and inform you all whether you like it or not, hehe!
